Dec. 2010 I was hospitalized. Onced released I realized I could no longer work and filed for SS Disability. I had some money saved and I know the claim would take time. I have ignored all bill except the most important. Rent and needs only. I’ve been receiving food stamps and got a small voucher to help with electric and propane. A disability lawyer has taken my claim from the start. I’ve been through the 2 denials and now waiting for a court hearing. My money has run out. My rent is 2 months due. My auto insurance expires this month and my tags expire next month. My lawyer ordered a medical exam and it took nearly all my fuel to get to it and home. I live in a travel trailer, so I can’t dare to lose my transportation or the lot space where I live. I feel sure I will be approved this time, but I need to be able to get through long enough to make it to the hearing. I’m 54, alone and very worried.

In 2009 I was receiving VA disability, but that was severed because I waited too long to file the claim. In the meantime I had moved to a better apartment and started college. But, with the severance of the disability so went the VocRehab benefit. I have been able to support myself with the overage of school loans. Now, I will not get another school stipend until the end of the month and that will be too late as the landlord has given until Friday to get out. I really need to come up with $600 rent for December and January. Please help!

I have been a stay at home mom for the last ten years my husband passed away in november 2010 i have used all of insurance money trying to maintain i have tried everything to get a job but im not having any luck i even spent 2700.00 to take a dental assisting course only to find out after thefact that it wasn’t an accredited program i have 10 days to move my credit is horrible so everybody is asking for very high deposits i have all my furniture listed on craigslist for sale if there is any help out there please let me know at settnustr8@yahoo.com

I’ve been unemployed for the past 2 years. I’ve submitted numerous applications. Nothing pans out and I don’t believe that it is because I am not qualified but because of my age – 59 (which no one dares to mention). My unemployment ins has run out and now I am two months behind in rent and facing eviction. I need help. It would not be a handout because, I am sure that eventually I will find something or as I am trying to do now, start my own income source online. I’d be more than happy to pay it back so that it may be available for the next person that needs it. I just need help.

iam a mother of 3 and disabled ,i have been struggling for a long time but always made sure my rent is paid but this month and last i couldnt pay my rent do to medical bills and my car broke down .need the car to take my kids back and forth to school . please if there is anyone and i know that iam not the only one who needs help .but my landloard is not stopping with the eviction he does not have a heart. i can tell you that. i would work it off or so cleaning or some other jobs. please i can not loose my place .i am in need of 1400$ thats last month and this month. i wish there is an angel out there who can help i have tryed rent assist. with no luck (out of funds) please help me and my kids ..thank you and god bless you..i dont know if i should add my phone number 4438069843

Hello there my name is Eric and am unable to get caught up on my rent and bills. I am behind 3 months rent to total about $1600. Mainly due to now being on layoff and only working about 6 hrs/week at my part time fill in position at the local school as a custodian. My landlord has worked with me this past year with me slowly falling farther and farther behind. Now I think he has had enough. The local agencies have told me that I don’t make enough on unemployment to get assistance with rent and that I make to much to get energy assistance. I am able to keep up with my rent if I can just get caught up. I even started to volunteer at the local food shelf here in my town hoping if I give to people in need maybe someone would come and rescue me from this hole I’m stuck in. (PAY IT FORWARD) I know that there are people with children that deserve help more than I do. Any help with paying my rent or advice on how to get other help will be greatly appreciated. My contract job ended this summer abruptly so I had to quickly find a new job which is $14K less than I was making. My husband lost his job in September; he just found a part time job which began at the end of December. I have been struggling to maintain bills and now we are behind on December and January’s rent. I have been determined to find a better job, and was just offered a position with the state of Wisconsin last week!! I’m SO excited, but it is going to be impossible to recover these last 2 payments. My husband and are looking for a cheaper place for us and our 2 kids, but we need to get current first! My landlord is trying to be patient (because we were always on time for the past 2.5 years we’ve been here) but the letter he wrote today explains that he also has bills to pay for the property and needs payment. We just want help to resolve this so we can find more modest accomodations while we get back on our feet.

Hi i am 22 years old have 2kids they are 3year old twins. I have been goin through so much my mother passed when i just tured 18years old my dad been locked up all my life so i have nobody. I am stayin in a apartment and they are giving me a week to come up with 2500 dollars if i don’t me and my kids off on the streets i just started online classes and i have a cleaning business i just started and don’t have money for that its goin to cost me 5500 for that i just won’t to better my kids life they don’t desever this i really need your help please.

I have been unemployed for 2 years, my husband of 17 years just left me and cleaned out the account, left it in the negative so the bank closed the account. Now I have no way to pay the rent, electric or internet. I need help and I just don’t know where to turn to or who to ask for help. I have asked my whole family and they don’t have it. My dad is sending me $200. But that isn’t enough to pay rent of $1035. I just need to know where i can go for help who I can ask. I have always been the person that helps other people I hate that I have to ask for any help. But I have run out of options and I was served notice to pay or quit and there is no money. Please help please I’m begging what do I do

Hi I’m a single mother with two children. I have a two bedroom apt my daughter and I share a room. My son has his own. We moved back three yrs ago from arizona after my husband left me. I was living with my mother and father but they moved and I had to get my own place. My son had brain surgery when we were getting ready to leave. Rents are so expensive. I started falling behind when I need to take days off here and there for my son has a chari malformation that he needs to live with. I work as many hours that I can. My incone is very low. I’m in desparate need of this months rent. I don’t want us to get evicted. I’m just a stuggling mom that needs some help. Thank you !
